Thank you to the thousands of debaters, 1000+ volunteers, hundreds of teachers and coaches, parents, families and guests, our incredible staff and the generosity of our supporters, donors and foundations for making every debate season even greater.

Wednesday (12/12) High School Varsity Debate Practices.  Every Wednesday after school, the NYC Debate Club hosts our Varsity Debate Practices from 3:00pm-6:00pm. Debate Practices are held at our Office, contact us at info@debate.nyc if interested.

University of Pennsylvania Travel Tournament Coming Up! February 8th-10th

Our next Travel Team Tournament is in February at the University of Pennsylvania. Schools should sign up now! The NYCUDL provides monthly Travel Practices, meals, tournament scholarships, and coaching at tournaments. Learn more about the Travel Team by clicking here. Thank you Brown Rudnick for your support! This week there were three news articles on high school debaters who were accepted to Harvard!  Atlanta's Osazi Al Khaliq, who led an upset at the Harvard Tournament.  Click here.  Chicago debate team captain, Amado Candelario, who wants to become an immigration attorney. Click here!
